It’s been a challenging week as we’ve made our best effort to support a long time Omaha FC member family, their teammates and fellow parents. Although rewarding to see the huge display of support, unity, and concern from our members and staff, our hearts and minds are consumed with empathy and compassion for the family members directly involved. Please know that your entire Omaha FC family is thinking of you right now and we’re here to support you in any way we can.
Congratulations to all the Omaha FC athletes that were fortunate to participate in National Signing Day yesterday and accept offers to play at the collegiate level. We are so proud of you all and wish you all the best in the next phase of your soccer career!!

Omaha FC Implements Mandatory Background Checks
We’re very proud to announce that Omaha FC is the first Club in Nebraska to implement a mandatory background check policy on ALL YDP, Academy and Select Coaches. We’ve been working through this initiative with the Nebraska State Soccer Association and sincerely appreciate their cooperation in helping us achieve this important mission. We are dedicated to the “Kids Safe” program and taking every possible measure to ensure our athletes are being mentored by the most qualified and honorable coaches in the area.
Omaha FC Donates “Old” Clothing to the Open Door Mission
We’ve welcomed the Spring-time weather this week by doing a little housekeeping around the office and the OSC. Wednesday of this week we donated 106 pounds of old Arsenal and Gladiator shirts to the Open Door Mission and will be delivering a significant amount of soccer specific equipment to a few South Omaha leagues early next week. Please feel free to drop-off any unwanted gear to us at the OSC and help us assist other families in need.
Omaha FC is accepted into the Super 20 League
Omaha FC was recently accepted into the Super 20 League administrated by United Soccer Leagues. The Super 20 League is a competitive regional league for U 19 & U 20 Players that play at the collegiate level and are looking to play soccer during the summer months. This additional program allows us to support our older male athletes and advance our overall programming. We are considering similar programs to support our female athletes and will update you on this initiative as progress is made.
Omaha FC’s College Search Event
THANK YOU to our program managers Becky Sanow, Andy Benkis, Alex Mason and Ryan Kruse for their administrative dedication and support of our 7th Annual College Search events held over the past two weekends. The event was very successful and the positive feedback from all those that attended was over the top. Thank you for your diligence and dedication in making this a first class event for all those that attended!
Omaha FC Commitment to Coaching Education
The OFC Directors of Coaching have scheduled several continuing education sessions for our professional coaching staff over the next months. These sessions provide a fantastic opportunity for coaches to learn best practices, share ideas and also stay current with the modern game and professional teaching techniques and strategies.
